Lincoln Charter, I continue to be amazed and impressed with the support and interest we have received to date. Several have stepped forward to volunteer their time and effort to ensure we have a successful spring soccer season. There is still time to throw your hat in the ring, if you’d like to join us. Just let me know.
Mrs. Kristi Rumsey, of the fine town Bridgman, noted her interest in our league and our effort to bring soccer back and stepped forward to lend a hand. She was then nominated to the post of Volunteer Coordinator, which our Board of Directors voted to approve.
Rumsey brings with her several years of experience in working with youth, youth sports, and community activities. Particularly valuable, will be her knowledge of volunteer coordination and her familiarity with youth soccer league activity. Couldn’t be happier to have her on our Board.
Mark Smith was recently appointed to the post of League Officiating Director. Most know Smith from his time with the league, serving in various capacities from Head of Coaches to President, and everything in between, from 2010 to 2018.
Our team will look to leverage his expertise in the areas of Officiating, to ensure it is consistent and appropriate for our youth soccer league. We are very glad to have his experience and time in seeing that this part of our league be a success. Everybody loves having well trained, focused official ; ).
With that, early registration ends in about 48 hours and prices go up. Please spread the word and let them know that we would love to have them join us this spring. Registration can be found HERE.
